SETTING STANDARDS. DELIVERING RESULTS
I am the author of Governing Public Money: Law, Policies, Political Economy and Islamic Wealth Taxation and Financing Public Health — two books that between them cover the architecture of public finance and the untapped potential of faith-based wealth obligations for state financing. My work appears in publications by Springer, Edward Elgar, Palgrave Macmillan, and Manchester University Press, and in Tax Notes International, where I have written on digital tax surveillance and the case for putting artificial intelligence and data on the global tax agenda. My research has been cited over 390 times and spans peer-reviewed journals, UN technical reports, and policy briefs for international organisations across six continents. All publications are accessible below.
